Terms & Conditions

When you take part in coaching sessions, you agree to the terms below. Coaching is here to help you grow, set goals, and make positive changes. It’s important to know that coaching is not a therapy, medical care, or psychological counselling.  

Beyond Border Coaching is a collaborative process designed to support expats in clarifying goals, adapting to new environments, and developing strategies to thrive personally and professionally in international contexts.

1. What Coaching Involves

Goal:

Coaching helps you understand where you are now, where you want to go, and how to get there.

Focus Area:

The sessions are about the present and future — not about healing past trauma or diagnosing problems.

Who Does What:

The coach is here to support and guide you. You are in charge of putting ideas into action and doing the work outside of sessions.

2. How the Sessions Happen

Length:

Each session usually lasts 50 minutes (unless we agree on something else).

Schedule:

We’ll decide together how often to meet — weekly, every other week, or as needed.

How We Meet:

Sessions can be online, in person, or over the phone — whatever works best.

Keeping Things Private:

What you share in the sessions stays private. I will only share information if legally required to.

3. What You Can Expect

From Your Coach:

• A respectful, judgment-free space

• Tools, ideas, and honest feedback

• Professional behavior and clear boundaries

From You:

• Be open and honest during sessions

• Follow through on the steps you commit to

• Share how the sessions are working for you

4. Payments and Missed Sessions

Payment:

All sessions (or packages) need to be paid for before they start.

Rescheduling:

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours ahead of time.

Missed Sessions:

If you cancel late or don’t show up, you may still be charged the full session fee.

Refunds:

If you stop early and have unused sessions, we can discuss a possible refund — an admin fee may apply.

5. Important Notes

• Coaching doesn’t treat medical or mental health conditions.

• Success depends on your effort — results may vary and aren’t guaranteed.

• If it seems like coaching isn’t a good fit, either of us can choose to end the sessions.

6. Staying in Touch Between Sessions

You can send short emails if you have quick questions or updates.

Longer or ongoing support outside the sessions may come with an extra fee.

7. Ending Coaching

You or the coach can stop the coaching at any time.

Completed sessions are not refundable.

8. Agreeing to These Terms

By starting or continuing with coaching, you agree that you’ve read and accepted these terms.
